We agree on the number before we write code.

The metric comes first

Before we build anything, we agree on one sentence that describes what has to move. We only accept metrics that already exist in your systems. If measuring the result needs us to build the measurement, it is the wrong metric, and we will tell you.

Seventy / thirty

70% of the fee is fixed. 30% depends on that metric moving by the agreed amount within 90 days of go-live. We cap the contingent portion on purpose. A firm that bets the whole project makes bad decisions near the deadline.

Your delay is not our risk

If you miss the agreed dates for data access, environment access, or subject-matter time, the contingent 30% converts to fixed. Most disputes about outcome pricing come from client-side delays. Pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

We publish the earn rate

How often we actually collect the contingent third is on this page, updated every quarter — including the quarters it goes badly. A 200-person agency cannot afford to do this. That is the point.

If nothing in your systems already counts the thing that should improve, the contingent clause is meaningless. We would rather say no than sell a guarantee we cannot settle.

We do not sell readiness assessments as a destination. The audit exists to reach a build decision, and it is credited against the build.

Staff augmentation

Renting engineers by the month is a different business with different incentives. Ours only works if we own the outcome end to end.
